The rate of unemployment is quite high with the universities and colleges graduating millions of youths into the job market which is skewed and biased against the graduates’ numbers. The result is joblessness and hopelessness creeps in.
In line with that there are two other contributing factors to joblessness and they are school dropout for teenage girls due to menstrual hygiene challenges and lack of market essential job skills. Unemployment leads to hopelessness and concurrently mental health challenges. Increase in teenage pregnancies and early marriages may be found in such situations.

Considering SDGs 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 13 and 17, we decided to handle these challenges through inspiring hope under our Mantra talk and win and Keeping Hope Alive as well as training, webinars and our corporate social responsibility arm dealing with menstrual hygiene and water and sanitation in public schools.

16 million young Africans, around 13.4% of the total labor force of 15-24 year olds, are facing unemployment.Entrepreneurship has not been a core subject in schools and it is one of the key solutions we have to sort the challenge of employment. We therefore decided to link the market and the youths through a safe platform KHOPA HUB that offers a learning space beyond what most social media platforms offer.
